Leana Greene is the founder and CEO of Kidsinthehouse.com - the world's largest parenting video library, and winner of an ABA Stevie Award for Best Use of Video and an Edison Award for Innovation.

An entrepreneur at heart, Leana started her first company, Absolute Court Reporting, in her early twenties. Using her natural business savvy, she successfully built the company up from 1 employee to over 45 in just 5 years. During that time, Absolute grew to become the premier court reporting company in Southern California, and generated millions in revenue. Absolute was the only company of its kind to have its own in-house mock trial facility, which included a state-of-the-art courtroom and jury deliberation room. In 2003, Leana sold her company to Paulson Court Reporting.

In 2005, Leana started her the record company, Swedish Diva Productions. Under her newly formed label, she wrote and produced her album, Faith in Myself. A number of songs from the album had major success, including 5 Top 10 Billboard Dance Chart hits, Top 5 on UK's MusicWeek's Pop Chart, #1 on DJ Times, #2 on Spain’s Fresh 40, as well as a nomination for Best HiNRG/Euro Track at the 2006 International Dance Awards and winner of the 2006 Song of the Year at Stockholm Pride.

After her children were born, Leana developed a strong interest in parenting and education, and began reading many parenting books and going to lectures.

She found the information she learned extremely valuable but realized that she, like many other parents, faced a problem...lack of time. So much good information was out there for parents, but reading all the books and getting to the lectures was proving to be a daunting task. That's when her dream to start Kids in the House developed.

Leana's goal was to create the ultimate parenting resource where parents everywhere could get the information they needed quickly and easily from the leading experts themselves. She wanted to share this information in a fun and easy to understand format. She also wanted to structure the information so parents could get actionable tips quickly or spend time delving deeper into areas of interest.

After three years of filming the 450 top parenting experts and organizations from across the county, kidsinthehouse.com was launched. The website contains over 8,000 educational videos for parents of kids of all ages.

Leana is proud to be on the honorary host committee for the 2014 Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media Symposium. She is also a strong supporter of Healthy Child Healthy World, Common Sense Media, and Brentwood School, where she serves on the Parent University and Education & Community Committees. Leana was the treasurer of the Swedish School of Los Angeles for 10 years, as well as having served on the Board of Directors for the Edgemar Center for the Arts.

In 2014, Leana produced and directed Baby Care 101, The Pump Station and Nurtury's video series on complete infant care.

When not working, Leana does volunteer work for her children's schools and the community, enjoys working out and spending time with friends. However, her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family, including her husband, Browne Greene, and their three children: Violet (15), Blue (12) and Teal (6). Together, they make up the "Rainbow Family."
